Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 150g
  • Coconut flour - 50g
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 4 tablespoons
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 100g
  • Squid, cleaned and sliced - 100g
  • Fish fillet (white fish) - 100g
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Spring onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, salt, egg, and olive oil. Gradually add water until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a 25cm (10-inch) tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Poke holes with a fork to prevent bubbling.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and set aside to cool.
  5. In a pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Add the shrimp, squid, and fish fillet to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until seafood is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, and chopped spring onions. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Spoon the seafood mixture into the pre-baked tart crust, spreading it evenly.
  9. Return the tart to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
