Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Wonton wrappers - 4 sheets
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for frying
  • Sriracha sauce - for serving
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 pieces
  • Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped green onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the wonton wrappers. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil and fry each wonton wrapper for about 30 seconds on each side until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Assemble the burger by placing a cooked patty on a fried wonton wrapper, topping it with lettuce leaves and cucumber slices.
  6. Drizzle with sriracha sauce and top with another fried wonton wrapper to complete the burger. Serve immediately.
