- Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 100 grams
- Green onions, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Chicken broth - 750 milliliters
- Egg noodles - 150 grams
- Baby bok choy - 2 pieces
- Coriander leaves, for garnish - a handful
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form the filling.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to seal, creating a triangle. Fold the two corners of the triangle towards the center and press to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle boil over medium heat. Add the wontons and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until they float and are cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add the baby bok choy to the broth and cook for an additional 2 minutes until tender.
- To serve, divide the cooked noodles into two bowls. Ladle the broth with wontons and bok choy over the noodles. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
