  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cooked rice - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. While the beef is marinating, blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli to the wok and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the wok, add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and 100 ml of water. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Season with salt and adjust to taste. Serve hot over cooked rice.
