Ingredients

  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Scallions - 2, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash and trim the asparagus, cutting it into 5 cm pieces.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the asparagus pieces to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
