Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium
  • Zucchini - 1 medium
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2.5 cm cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the tofu is marinating, cut the red bell pepper and zucchini into 2.5 cm pieces and prepare the mushrooms by removing the stems.
  5. After marinating, toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch to coat evenly.
  6. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  7. Thread the marinated tofu, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms onto the soaked skewers alternately.
  8. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the tofu is golden and the vegetables are tender.
  9. Serve the skewers hot, drizzled with any remaining marinade.
