Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 250 grams
- Instant yeast - 5 grams
- Sugar - 10 grams
- Warm water - 150 ml
- Vegetable oil - 15 ml
- Firm tofu - 100 grams, crumbled
- Carrot - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Soy sauce - 15 ml
- Sesame oil - 5 ml
- Salt - 2 grams
- Black pepper - 1 gram
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add warm water and vegetable oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté the chopped carrots and mushrooms in a little oil for 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the crumbled tofu, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the skillet, mixing well and cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a circle about 10 cm in diameter, then place a spoonful of the vegetable-tofu mixture in the center.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching to seal tightly, then shape into a bun.
- Place the buns on a parchment-lined baking tray and let them rise for another 15 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on top.
