- Cabbage - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Carrot - 50 grams, grated
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable broth - 1 liter
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped cabbage, grated carrot, chopped mushrooms, green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the vegetable mixture in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle, and press to seal. Then, bring the two corners of the triangle together and press to seal, forming a wonton. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large pot, bring the vegetable broth to a boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently add the wontons to the boiling broth. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the wontons float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
