  • Green onion - 2, chopped

  • Oyster sauce (vegetarian) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the Lo Mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large frying pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the carrot, red bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked Lo Mein noodles and the sauce to the vegetable mixture, tossing everything together until well combined.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.
