- Cabbage - 100 grams, finely chopped
- Carrot - 50 grams, grated
- Mushrooms - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Green onions - 2, finely sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable broth - 750 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, grated carrot, chopped mushrooms, green onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and sesame oil to the vegetable mixture, and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the vegetable filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper over to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges to seal, and repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large pot, bring the vegetable broth to a simmer over medium heat. Add the remaining soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Carefully add the dumplings to the simmering broth and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the top and are cooked through.
- Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
