Ingredients

  • Instant yeast - 5 grams
  • Sugar - 10 grams

  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Carrot - 50 grams, grated
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
  • Zucchini - 50 grams, diced
  • Green onions - 30 grams, chopped
  • Soy sauce - 15 ml
  • Sesame oil - 5 ml
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Chili flakes - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and instant yeast, and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. While the dough is rising, prepare the vegetable filling. In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat and sauté the carrot, bell pepper, and zucchini for about 5 minutes until tender. Stir in the green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a round shape, about 15 cm in diameter.
  7. Place the vegetable filling in the center of each dough round and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a sealed pocket, then flatten gently to form a pizza shape.
  8. Transfer the pizzas to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
