- Bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1 medium
- Carrot - 1 medium
- Snap peas - 100 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 50 ml
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
Steps
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water together to create a marinade.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and pour the marinade over the mixture. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
