Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers - 10 pieces
  • Mixed salad greens - 150 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the wonton wrappers into triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the wonton wrappers for about 10 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  4. While the wontons are baking, prepare the salad by combining the mixed greens, cucumber, carrot, red bell pepper, green onion, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro in a large bowl.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and minced garlic to create the dressing.
  6. Once the wontons are done baking, let them cool slightly before adding them to the salad.
  7. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
