  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Plant-based milk - for brushing

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add grated carrot, chopped green onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, black pepper, and salt to the crumbled tofu and mix well until combined.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into squares (approximately 10x10 cm).
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the tofu mixture into the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling to create triangles or rectangles, pressing the edges to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
