  • Vegetable broth - 50 ml
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, diced
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Prepare the pizza dough according to package instructions or roll out your homemade dough on a floured surface to fit a pizza pan.
  3. Crumble the firm tofu into small pieces and set aside.
  4. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the red chili paste and cook for another minute.
  6. Add the crumbled tofu, diced mushrooms, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, vegetable broth, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour this mixture over the tofu and vegetables, stirring to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions and sesame oil. Season with black pepper to taste.
  9. Spread the tofu mixture evenly over the prepared pizza dough.
  10. Top with vegan mozzarella cheese, then bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
