- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into fish-like fillets.
- In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, soy sauce, seaweed flakes, garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Marinate the tofu fillets in the lemon mixture for at least 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- In a shallow dish, combine the cornstarch and nutritional yeast. Dredge each marinated tofu fillet in the cornstarch mixture until fully coated.
