- Snow Peas - 100 grams
- Tofu - 150 grams, cubed
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Broth - 60 milliliters
- Black Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss the cubed tofu with cornstarch until well coated.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the carrot, bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce and vegetable broth. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles and toss everything together to ensure the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
- Season with black pepper and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
