Ingredients
- Tofu skin - 200 grams
- Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, chopped
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, julienned
- Cabbage - 50 grams, finely shredded
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 0.5 liters
Steps
- Soak the tofu skin in warm water for about 10 minutes until pliable, then drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped shiitake mushrooms, carrot, bell pepper, and cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in soy sauce, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Lay a piece of soaked tofu skin on a clean surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling at one end and roll it tightly, folding the sides in as you go to secure the filling.
- Repeat with the remaining tofu skin and filling to create a total of 6 rolls.
- In a steamer, add water and bring to a boil. Place the rolls in the steamer basket and steam for 10-12 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from the steamer and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
