Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Button mushrooms - 150 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2.5 cm cubes.
  2. Clean the button mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper.
  4. Add the tofu and mushroom cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  6. Thread the marinated tofu and mushrooms onto the skewers, alternating between the two.
  7. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is golden and the mushrooms are tender.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
