Ingredients
- Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Teriyaki sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
- Red bell pepper (sliced) - 1 medium
- Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Carrot (shredded) - 1 small
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
- In a bowl, combine the tofu cubes with the teriyaki sauce, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
- While the tofu is marinating, prepare the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, stretching it into a round shape to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Lightly brush the pizza dough with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Spread the marinated tofu evenly over the pizza dough, followed by the sliced red bell pepper, shredded carrot, and chopped green onions.
- Top the pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
