Ingredients

  • Portobello mushrooms - 200 grams
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
  • Red onion - 1 medium, cut into wedges
  • Teriyaki sauce - 60 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Clean the mushrooms and slice the Portobello mushrooms into thick pieces. Leave the Shiitake mushrooms whole.
  4. Add the mushrooms, bell pepper chunks, and red onion wedges to the marinade, ensuring everything is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Thread the marinated vegetables and mushrooms onto the skewers, alternating between the different ingredients.
