Ingredients
- Taro - 200 grams
- Tapioca starch - 80 grams
- Protein powder (unflavored) - 30 grams
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Sugar - 30 grams
- Salt - a pinch
- Water - 200 ml
Steps
- Peel and cube the taro, then steam it for about 20 minutes until soft.
- Mash the steamed taro in a bowl until smooth.
- Add tapioca starch, protein powder, coconut milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt to the mashed taro. Mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Bring water to a boil in a pot. Carefully drop the taro balls into the boiling water.
- Once the balls float to the surface, let them cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the balls from the water and let them cool slightly before serving.
