Ingredients

  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams

  • Salt - 3 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Sweetened condensed milk - 50 grams
  • Cheese (mozzarella or a Halal alternative) - 100 grams
  • Sesame seeds - 10 grams
  • Sliced bananas - 1 medium
  • Chopped walnuts - 20 grams
  • Honey - 20 grams

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the surface of the dough.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese generously over the condensed milk layer.
  9. Arrange the sliced bananas and chopped walnuts on top of the cheese.
  10. Drizzle honey over the toppings and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
