- Olive oil - 15 ml
- Sweetened condensed milk - 50 grams
- Cheese (mozzarella or a Halal alternative) - 100 grams
- Sesame seeds - 10 grams
- Sliced bananas - 1 medium
- Chopped walnuts - 20 grams
- Honey - 20 grams
Steps
- In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the surface of the dough.
- Sprinkle the cheese generously over the condensed milk layer.
- Arrange the sliced bananas and chopped walnuts on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle honey over the toppings and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
