Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 100 ml
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Scallions (green onions) - 100 grams, finely chopped
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - for frying (approximately 2 tablespoons)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground black pepper. Stir in the chopped scallions.
  4. Divide the rested dough into 2 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread half of the scallion and egg mixture evenly over one circle of dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Place the second circle of dough on top and press down gently to seal. Repeat for the second pie.
  7. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each pie for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Cut into wedges and serve warm.
