Steps
- Wash and trim the green beans, cutting them into 5 cm lengths.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Immediately transfer the green beans to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.
