  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onions - 3, chopped
  • Cilantro - 20 grams, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Szechuan peppercorns - 1 teaspoon, crushed
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Chili oil - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, crushed Szechuan peppercorns, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili oil to create the dressing. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
