  • Szechuan peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 15 ml
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions (sliced) - 2
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, Szechuan peppercorns, chili paste, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, lemon juice, vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
