  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into even-sized sticks, about 1 cm thick.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  4. Add the carrot sticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Thread the marinated carrot sticks onto skewers for easier grilling.
