Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 100 ml
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Scallions - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add warm water while mixing until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the chopped scallions, minced garlic, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the filling.
  4. Divide the rested dough into two equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread half of the filling evenly over each circle of dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Roll each circle tightly from one end to the other to form a log, then coil each log into a spiral shape and flatten gently with your palm.
  7. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Place the spirals on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
