Ingredients

  • Tofu skin - 200 grams
  • Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Prepare the tofu skin by soaking it in warm water for about 10 minutes until softened, then drain and cut into strips.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot to the skillet, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. Add the soaked tofu skin to the skillet and stir well to combine with the vegetables.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring continuously for another 3-4 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and stir in the chopped green onions.
