- Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Yellow bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and then add the minced garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers to the pan and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan, add the oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water, and stir well to combine all ingredients. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed, then serve hot.
