Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and coconut milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Prepare a steaming dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  4. Pour the batter into the steaming dish, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
  5. Steam the mixture over boiling water for about 20 minutes, or until the cake is firm and cooked through.
