  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chopped walnuts - 30 grams (optional)

Steps

  1. Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil in the bottom pot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, coconut milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined, then fold in the chopped walnuts if using.
  5. Grease a small heatproof dish or a cake pan that fits inside the steamer.
