Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Water - 100 ml
- Ground chicken - 150 grams
- Cabbage, finely chopped - 50 grams
- Green onions, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and water to form a dough. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- After the dough has rested, divide it into small portions (about 20 grams each) and roll each portion into a thin circle, about 3-4 inches in diameter.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place the dumplings in the steamer basket, ensuring they are not touching each other. Steam for about 15-20 minutes.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the dumplings from the steamer and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
