  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, julienned
  • Red bell pepper - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 10 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 large, torn into pieces
  • Avocado - 50 grams, sliced
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Rice vinegar - 15 ml
  • Sesame oil - 5 ml
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated

Steps

  1. Prepare all the vegetables by washing and cutting them as indicated.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a dipping sauce.
  3. Fill a large shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds until it softens.
  4. Lay the softened wrapper on a clean surface. Place a piece of lettuce at the bottom, followed by a small amount of each vegetable and herbs (carrot, cucumber, red bell pepper, mint, cilantro, and avocado).
  5. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal the spring roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Serve the spring rolls with the dipping sauce.
