Ingredients
- Rice paper wrappers - 4 sheets
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Cucumber - 50 grams, julienned
- Red bell pepper - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 10 grams
- Lettuce leaves - 2 large, torn into pieces
- Avocado - 50 grams, sliced
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Rice vinegar - 15 ml
- Sesame oil - 5 ml
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
Steps
- Prepare all the vegetables by washing and cutting them as indicated.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a dipping sauce.
- Fill a large shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds until it softens.
- Lay the softened wrapper on a clean surface. Place a piece of lettuce at the bottom, followed by a small amount of each vegetable and herbs (carrot, cucumber, red bell pepper, mint, cilantro, and avocado).
- Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal the spring roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Serve the spring rolls with the dipping sauce.
