Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Drain the tofu and press it gently to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, and add the tofu cubes. Cook until golden brown on all sides, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced bell pepper and broccoli florets to the skillet, and stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Sriracha, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Pour this sauce over the tofu and vegetables, stirring to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to coat the ingredients evenly.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top before serving.
