Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, and sauté the garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  7. Return the crispy tofu to the pan and pour in the soy sauce and sriracha sauce. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
