Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Bell pepper (red) - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli florets - 150 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Green onion - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu cubes to the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, and sauté the garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Return the crispy tofu to the pan and pour in the soy sauce and sriracha sauce. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
