- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli florets - 150 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and sriracha sauce, then pour over the tofu and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix well.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
