Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Snow peas - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the tofu to the skillet. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and sriracha sauce, then pour over the tofu and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix well.
  8. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
