Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the sauce.
  3. Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  6. Return the crispy tofu to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and stir to combine everything. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
