- Chili oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot. Add the wheat noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the Sichuan peppercorns and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, stirring continuously for about 30 seconds until they become aromatic.
- Add the ground chicken to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili oil. Mix well to combine all ingredients and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss them in the sauce until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Adjust seasoning with salt if necessary.
