Ingredients
- Shrimp - 300 grams, peeled and deveined
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 4 large leaves
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, Sriracha, and sesame oil. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and drying them.
- Once the shrimp is done, assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp in each lettuce leaf.
- Top with julienned cucumber, sliced green onions, and chopped cilantro.
