- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, crushed Sichuan peppercorns, red chili flakes, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, lime juice, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the Halal pork sausage to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the sausages from the marinade and thread them onto skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes first).
