Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 250 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir well to coat them in the oil, garlic, and ginger.
  5. Sprinkle in the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and nicely browned.
  6. Pour in the coconut aminos and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately.
