Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Bell pepper - 1, cut into squares
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to ensure all the pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables by cutting the bell pepper into squares and chopping the green onions.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and green onions onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  6. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
