Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 250 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Sriracha sauce - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili paste, gluten-free soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns in the skillet until lightly crispy.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the chicken patty, cucumber slices, and a drizzle of Sriracha sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately with extra Sriracha on the side.
