- Ground chicken - 250 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Sriracha sauce - for serving
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili paste, gluten-free soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns in the skillet until lightly crispy.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the chicken patty, cucumber slices, and a drizzle of Sriracha sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with extra Sriracha on the side.
