Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken breast - 300 grams, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce (Kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Scallions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it's cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes to the pan with broccoli. Stir-fry for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, drizzle with sesame oil, and toss everything together to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped scallions.
