Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat and add the marinated beef to the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of gluten-free soy sauce, honey, red chili flakes, and water. Pour this sauce over the beef and broccoli mixture.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef and broccoli evenly.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately.
