- Sichuan peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
- Dried red chilies - 4-5 pieces, chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine pork slices, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add Sichuan peppercorns and dried red chilies, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the wok, stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
- Increase the heat to high and add the marinated pork to the wok. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and browned.
- Add chopped green onions and stir-fry for an additional minute.
