- Honey or maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Vegetable oil - for grilling

Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1 cm thick slices.
- In a small bowl, combine the Sichuan peppercorns, chili paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
- Place the tofu slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is well coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
