  • Warm water - 100 milliliters
  • Ground halal beef - 150 grams
  • Chopped green onions - 30 grams
  • Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Minced garlic - 1 clove
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Egg - 1 (for egg wash)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and warm water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the ground beef, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. After resting, divide the dough into 10 small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  4. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  5. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Brush each dumpling with the egg wash and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with soy sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
