Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Warm water - 100 milliliters
- Ground halal beef - 150 grams
- Chopped green onions - 30 grams
- Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
- Minced garlic - 1 clove
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 (for egg wash)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and warm water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together the ground beef, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- After resting, divide the dough into 10 small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Brush each dumpling with the egg wash and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
